Center for Governance and Leadership (CEGOL) participated in a day long young feminists dialogue that was organized by the Global Platforms; a feminist youth led network which operates under Action Aid.
The dialogue which took place at the Malawi Posts Corporation Conference Centre in Blantyre interrogated the status of human rights for girls and women.
Commenting during the session, CEGOL Programs Associate; Emily Chilemba said the dialogue was timely as rights of girls and women continue to be violated in various spaces including work places, communities and schools. She added it was time to inspire young women led action in dealing with various human rights violations.
The meeting was attended by about thirty young women and girls from various organizations and networks based in Blantyre
